November Headstone Of Note

Noting Daniel Brown for November; Daniel Brown was born on November 4, 1808, in Bayport, New York, his father, Isaac, was 31 and his mother, Charity, was 26. He married Hannah Ann Hawkins on December 29, 1831, in New York. They had two children during their marriage. He was listed as a seaman in the 1850 and 1860 Census’. He died on September 15, 1901, in Patchogue at the very impressive age of 92, and was buried in The Brown Family Plot in the Gerard section of the Waverly side of our cemetery. His headstone reads “Made A Harbor, Christ The Pilot”.
